C 2007. This similar to the sunset of Woman Washing Hair on left. Moon Maid is based on a moonlight setting with three tree trunks partially standing from the water.
It’s a simple painting of a woman watching the moon reflect on her right palm. The background is a stunning blue.
It’s almost as if she is reaching to the trunk of the tree on the right as if the tree is another entity.
