Sowerby's Fleshy Limpet
Lucapina sowerbii (Sowerby, 1835)
Limpets are found regularly on S. Hutchinson Island beaches but not in abundance. I average one or two limpets per collecting trip and most of them are Cayenne Keyhole Limpets.

Lucapina sowerbii, common name Sowerby's fleshy limpet, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Fissurellidae, the keyhole limpets.[1]
Description
The size of the shell varies between 15 mm and 30 mm.

Distribution
This species occurs in the Atlantic Ocean from Florida to Brazil; in the Caribbean Sea, the Gulf of Mexico and the Lesser Antilles.
