Short Macoma Psammotreta Brevifrons (Say 1834) Family Tellinidae
The Short Macoma, Psammotreta brevifrons, is found on S. Hutchinson Island beaches. It's not as common as the Elongted Macoma but is found occasionally on shelling trips.
